Introducing Our Ram Promaster 2500
It was a crisp summer day when we first laid our eyes on the Ram Promaster 2500. Nestled in a quaint town in Western, MA, this versatile vehicle had been transformed into a work of art, thanks to the skilled hands of a talented woodworker named Corey.
From the moment we set foot inside, we knew we had discovered something truly special. Corey's craftsmanship was evident in every detail, showing his passion for his craft and a dedication to creating a space that was both functional and visually stunning.
You may have heard that we sold our cherished home and studio and acquired a trusty van to traverse the USA. #vanlife
It all began with “Can we talk?” moment with Scotty who was sitting in the living room of our beautiful home. Then I uttering those fateful words: “Let's sell everything and just go." A deep desire for travel had always lingered within us since the day we got married. SO, after covid almost killed our photography business, especially our food and hospitality work, we knew we needed to pivot. To reinvent ourselves.
We took the plunge, selling everything. Yes, everything. Now, after a full year of dwelling in our new home on wheels, we are just beginning to taste the sweetness of living out our lifelong dream.
The path ahead was strewn with challenges, selling the house and all our stuff was just the start. We blew up our lives. We bade a sad goodbye to a business we had meticulously crafted over decades! And said a farewell to cherished friends. All who stood by us through thick and thin. It was profoundly challenging.
The trials and tribulations of life on the road have been undeniably real. Getting Vanny stuck in a river bed where we had no cell service. To Donna falling off a tall rock at City of Rocks in New Mexico and injuring her right leg.
Along the way, we have taken photos of everything. We are creating new art projects and portfolios. We are beating back that big empty hole in our hearts that was feeling overwhelming and desperate. We are feeling alive again. We are feeling strong. We most of all, are feeling creative.
